Upgrade 126 Nanofilter Kiosks into Centers

TAHUDE Foundation and its sister organization, Gongali Model were so proud to conduct a ground-breaking event in Karatu Dirstrict, Arusha region - Tanzania on 20th Nov. 2016. It was such as splendid event honored by the Arusha Regional Commissioner (through his representative) and covered by about 10 Journalists from National TVs like TBC, ITV, Star TV, Radios, Magazines, etc.

About 3,000 people were reached through this event. Attached, please see some pictures and videos of the event. We used the event to celebrate the success stories from our beneficiaries - about 8,000 people.

We are indebted to say THANK YOU SO MUCH to all our partners including GlobalGiving and its generous donors. The impact was very obvious and many people were excited by our humble commitment to serve our under-served communities in Rural Tanzania.

By now we have established 150 water stations run by local entrepreneurs who, beside giving the service of clean and safe water, they are also economically benefiting a lot. For example, Ms. Benadeta who has a water station at Mount Meru Hospital earns up to GBP 3 per day as her net profit. This lady had no job BUT now she is self-employed through our Nanofilter water station. She is so grateful!

THANKS for your relentless support as we make IMPACT to people like Benadeta and many others. We want to establish 1,000 water stations within 2017. This is equivalent to creating job opportunities to 1,000 local entrepreneurs who will be providing safe and clean water to 100,000 people every day.
