By Boae Phoebe Yoon | Project Leader
From July to October 2025, Wonders International conducted a capacity-building training focused on leadership and organizational management for ethnic minority women in northern Laos.
The training was led by an expert from the Luang Prabang Department of Agriculture, who provided guidance on teamwork, leadership, and effective management systems for business groups.
During the sessions, participants learned how to set clear goals, work with a shared understanding, and carry out plans collaboratively.
They also realized the importance of unity and the collective power that emerges when women work together as a group rather than individually.
This training not only improved participants’ management and communication skills but also strengthened the foundation for running their Kaipen production group more effectively.
Moving forward, Wonders International will continue to support these women in applying what they’ve learned—helping them lead their groups with confidence and grow as sustainable local entrepreneurs.
Thank you for continuing to empower Lao ethnic women toward self-reliance and leadership.
Warm regards,
Wonders International Team
