Work continues in Boucantiste, Bernaco and Leveque

Every new week there are new issues facing the people of Haiti. Even as things seem to be settling down outside Port au Prince it is still difficult to traverse the roads and pathways.

One blessing for our workers like Brissinor, is that he works on our farm in his own community. Like all our workers they are from the local area, which means that their income has an impact on their local neighborhood. At present over 60 families are directly impacted by employment with BonZeb. Over 300 workers, spouses and children benefit from our work in the central plateau. ($2,000 USD/month) Another 10 families are reaping these benfits on the newest farm in Leveque.

Many are farmers who benefit from the guidance of our farm manager and agronomist Fanfan. The single oxen team is being worked daily to plow the fields of these farmers in Bernaco. There has been a request for an additional team for the farmers in Boucantiste. The cost is approximately $2000 USD.

BonZeb is a community-based organization that works to improve the living situations in those locales.
