New Year's News!

We hope that all of our supporters had a wonderful festive season filled with Friends, Family and Happiness!!

We are so looking forward to a wonderful year, surrounded by our amazing animals and of course you guys!

This Christmas we are so blessed to have a wonderul group of volunteer with us, always ready to jump out and help with anything that needs to be done :) (Actually every Christmas!) Its so nice to share Christmas time with people who very quickly become family!!

TRACK Rehabilitation has been keeping us busy!!

Roxy the Sable moved over to her new home just before Christmas time and has settled in well, we receive updates and are so glad to know that she is happy!

The little mongoose babies are such a handful! With 6 little ones its hard to see who is who and special methods had to be used in order to ensure each of them were fed and no one received double!!!

Little Fern and Forrest the rescued genet babies are growing big! They have moved from the nursery to a bigger space with access to the out doors. Fern did come to us with some neurological issues and while they have mainly resolved she definitely still has a head tilt. This doesnt affect her ability to climb so we are hopeful that she will still be a release candidate.

Bubble and Squeak were brought to us after being found abandoned in the veld, no one knows what happened to their mother but once the little warthog babies are ready they will be soft released on our farm, monitored by staff and probably occasionally offered treats!

Baby Jim is a little Puff Backed Shrike who was found outside on the road, unfortunately despite best efforts to return him to his family he seemed to keep putting himself in danger. He is now being handfed insects by the staff members, he just started to try to flap his wings and we hope soon we can put him back in the wild where he belong

We also had quite a lot of rainy days! This was also a blessing as nature needs the rain!! It had also been so very hot that it was nice to see the animals enjoying the cooler days!!

Thank you all so much for your continued support!!! We appreciate all that you do for us and the animals!! We are so excited to see what this new year will hold for us and our rehabilitation facilty!

Thank you from Riana and the team
