Thanks to your generous support, Global Girl Project has been working in Bolivia through our partnership with Ayni Skate Project, training girls from marginalised communities to lead change.
Between January to March 2026, we completed a cohort with 9 girls. During their 3month leadership journey, the girls attended weekly sessions where they explored the power in their voices, identified local issues, and learned practical leadership skills in project planning and advocacy.
These young leaders addressed cyberviolence and grooming – a growing concern in their community. They designed activities for all ages: puppets for children, highenergy dynamics for adolescents, and a special session for parents. The girls spoke from their own experience, explaining how to protect minors in the digital world. The event reached 120 community members.
One facilitator reflected: "Global Girl Project has empowered them, transforming them into confident leaders who are sure of their voices."
The $90 raised has funded 2 education grants, keeping girls in school and fully engaged in leadership training. We are continuing to build leadership skills and community action in Bolivia. Thank you for making this possible.
