Nigeria's rural youth face high unemployment despite growing global demand for digital skills. This project will train 500 underserved young people in web development, digital marketing, data analysis, and remote work readiness. Participants will receive hands-on training, mentorship, internet access, and job placement support. By equipping youth for remote digital jobs, we create income pathways, reduce poverty, and unlock sustainable futures.
Youth unemployment in rural Nigeria is severe, leaving many educated young people without income or opportunity. Limited access to technology, training, and reliable internet blocks their participation in the global digital economy. Without practical digital skills or job networks, rural youth remain trapped in poverty, migration pressure, and vulnerability to exploitation. The digital divide continues to widen between urban and rural communities.
We will train 500 rural youth annually in high-demand digital skills through structured cohorts over 12 months. Training includes web development, digital marketing, data analysis, remote work tools, and freelancing platforms. Participants receive mentorship, internet access, career coaching, and job placement support. Graduates will build portfolios, secure online gigs, or gain remote employment, generating sustainable income for themselves and their families.
This project creates long-term economic transformation by building a pipeline of digitally skilled youth who earn sustainable income. Graduates will support families, reinvest locally, and mentor others, multiplying impact. Over time, rural communities become digitally connected, economically resilient, and less dependent on unstable local opportunities. The program establishes a replicable model for reducing unemployment through digital inclusion.
