Preparation for agricultural training activities when the next course opens....

By Obora Odedo Dalmas | WOW Supervisor

In September 2021 we had 4 of our World of Work (WOW) participants take part in a month long training in organic agriculture run by Thrive for Good in Kitale. The young people enjoyed the experience of living and learning with others from not just within Kenya but also participants from Canada, USA and South Africa. None of these youth had completed even primary level schooling so they were excited to receive the certificates for completion of the course.

Thrive for Good will launch the next training shortly so then we can place some other street connected youth on this course. In the meantime the participants on WOW 3 have begun preparing the soil for planting at our base in Milimani.

AMV would like to thank those who have supported this project so far.
