We have been getting your high valued liberal support through GlobalGiving and we are thankful to you from our heart.
CHHASE, in these 16 years, has served more than one and half lakh beneficiaries all over TAMIL NADU. In order to make them self-reliant and empowered, the organization has put its significant efforts through several programs as vocational education, women empowerment, conservation of environment, educational development and sustainable livelihood, elderly care, food groceries to neglected elders, Etc and the organization still working for the same.
Women in India were deprived of educational privileges for centuries. The right to education denied to women in rural areas still exists. "by a girl, by a young woman, or even by an aged one, nothing must be done independently'. There are many people who oppose girls' education. They say that the proper sphere of girls is the home. So, they argue that the money spent on girl's education is wasted.
As the girl children education denied by parents, their independence was restricted within the house and argument of money spent on girl's education is waste, gave us strong decision that CHHASE will fight to educate the girl children. We decided not only help to educate but also provide various skill training's to the girl children and youth enabling them to start their own business or get a job in companies. We felt repeated awareness to parents is a must. Also if possible construct a free school, especially for rural poor girls will help them to come out from this barrier.
Our repeated awareness to parents, opened their eyes and they felt education is a must their beloved daughters. Our distribution of school fee, school bags, note books, writing materials, etc eased the parents burden on girl children education. The skill trained earnings by their daughters gave their families a big boost.
Now thousands of rural girl children are waiting for our educational support, skill based training's. We are striving to do the needful to our girl children and planning to open a free school for girls with transport facility.
