Respected Donor  !!!

Warm Greeting from CHHASE India!!

We have been getting your high valued liberal support through GlobalGiving and we are thankful to you from our heart.

Palmyra palms are economically useful and widely cultivated, especially in Southeast Asia. The palmyra palm has long been one of the most important trees of India and mainly in Tamil nadu, where it has more than 600 uses. The leaves are used for thatching, mats, baskets, fans, hats, umbrellas, and as writing material. After plastic products introduction in market, this palmyra products dimished completely.

CHHASE is now planning to promte the traditional Tamil Nadu palmyra products by training more self help group members. The raw materials are much lower cost. when it become as a product, it gives more profit.  if this products come to market in large scale, the plastic usage will reduce and this products are Eco-friendly and gives a safe environment. we plan to train 500 women, arrange loans, provide marketing technics Etc and we will create awareness to public that palmyra products Ecofriendly and low cost.

Apart from this palmyra training, our usual trainings like sewing, embroidery, computer skills, artificial jewelry etc is going on and 320 women are under training. We provide job in local companies, self business by arranging loans from bank. This life saving trainings are going on with the help of you and globalgiving. We thank you on behalf of our beneries.

We are now arranging to start training on bee keeping and extracting the honey to tribal people also. We will be starting this course in near future.

Thanking you for your kind cooperation and financial support. Without your generous donations it is very difficult for us to '' Help the poor women to come out of poverty through skills !!''

Respected donors, we welcome your valuable suggestions for this noble work. Please do provide your suggestions in the comment box to be more successful.
