The year 2018 is about to bow out but we are not talking about the “final moments” to give. I don’t think that is the feedback you want to get from us after all we have built together during this year. I am sure that you want to know that we would not stall after all the progress we have made in 2018.

That is exactly why we are talking about recurring donations instead. It is the ultimate way of making the most of your year-end gift to Aumazo.

2018 – A Year of Milestones

Your unprecedented generosity worked wonders for AUMAZO, INC in 2018. The increase in donations from your hearts is tiny seeds of hope that you have sown in the minds of the girls in our tutoring program. We have successfully tutored 88 girls so far, with more than 80% of them passing the high school entrance exam this year. That number far exceeds the previous local average where only 23% of students have successfully passed the exam.

Opening The School in 2019

Our work in Cameroon is paying off tremendously, but there is so much more to be done. The 23 girls that graduated from the tutoring program for the last two academic years could not enter our school because the buildings are not yet complete. Our goal for next fall is to open the doors of our school where we will enroll 50 high school girls, giving them the opportunity to change their lives, as well as the lives of their families and forever change the history of their communities.

As we prepare to build the school, we must continue to provide ongoing support for our operating budget, which includes planning for the school construction, continuing the tutoring program, developing a curriculum, finding partners, and a host of other important tasks that the Aumazo organization does on a daily basis.
