Dear Supporters,

Exciting times are ahead for Their Future Today as we continue our transformative work in Sri Lanka. A highlight is Dharshika's journey towards a brighter future, thanks to the generosity of an anonymous donor. This opportunity for him to study hotel management at college is a leap towards bettering his and his family's life. Dharshika's family were overjoyed to learn he'd be sponsored for college, especially knowing hospitality's significance in Sri Lanka—a leading industry promising abundant job opportunities. This chance doesn't just foresee a job for Dharshika but a thriving future.

Our community's engagement, notably Jasmine, our volunteer's effort in documenting these key moments, is pivotal. The spirit of giving within our support network is making life-changing differences for children in need.

In addition, we've received high-level recognition for our initiatives. The British High Commissioner to Sri Lanka, Andrew Patrick, and Deputy High Commissioner Lisa Whanstall, have shown tremendous support, including hosting a launch event for our foster care programme. This endorsement is a significant boost for our mission to end the institutionalisation and suffering of vulnerable children disadvantaged through poverty in Sri Lanka.

While we've made remarkable progress, there's much more we aim to accomplish. More alternative family and foster care training with NGOs, the government, and the community is on our agenda, with plans to expand this summer. Our international partners, Myrna from IFCO and Vasundhra from the Centre of Excellence India will be rejoining us to share their invaluable expertise as we hope to work on the first foster care pilot.

Thank you for your continuous support as we strive for further transformation in the lives of Sri Lanka's children.

Warm regards,

Joel
