Dear donors,

In Brazil, 2022 started with COVID still in high levels in the first month of the year and we could only see the light at the end of the tunnel by March. Working mostly with young people in vulnerability, Rede Cidadã started to move its online operations to in-person classes, increasing the number of beneficiaries to develop socioemotional skills to face the harsh of unemployment, loss and other emotional and mental stress.

Even with such a hard start, Rede Cidadã is now celebrating a few achievements we would like to share with you:

  • In April we achieved more than 103 thousand young people employed through our programs in 9 states and almost 100 cities in Brazil.
  • Rede Cidadã was nominated one of the Most Humanized Organizations in Brazil by Humanizadas, a ranking made mostly of private companies.
  • For the fourth year, Rede Cidadã is among the Top 100 NGOs in the world by The Dot Good (former NGO Advisor), going from number 88 to 77 globaly and 5th to 3rd in Brazil.
  • Our Executive Director, Fernando Alves, spoke for more than 1.000 HR representatives from companies based all over Brazil at CONARH with the theme Emotional Intelligence to include social diversity.

We know all of this would not be possible without our partners and you. Donors like you make a difference in social inclusion of the most vulnerables in Brazil.

If you like what you are reading, share with family and friends to help us achieve our 15.000 youth placed in 2022.

Thank you for your support!
