Project Report | Dec 27, 2022
End of the year celebration of Rede Cidada

By Adriana Boscov | Relationship, Partnership and Fundraising Manager

Dear Donor,

Rede Cidadã would like to thank and challenge you as we enter a new year.

Please see our messages fro m Fernando Alves, Rede Cidadã Executive Director and Adriana Boscov, Relationship, Partnership and Fundraising Manager.

Looking forwrad to receiving your donation and support in 2023.
Best,

Rede Cidadã Team

Message from Fernando Alves, Executive Director

While I work here, at the headquarters of the Rede Cidadã, it came to my mind that in 2023 I will challenge many people. I keep thinking that we should have two economic practices in life: one is to always save a part of our income. It doesn't matter how much you can save. If one month you can save $1, you will deposit it in an account and save $1. If the next month you can deposit $100.00, then save $100.00. But in every month of our life, you should save some money.

And a second good transforming practice is that we can also donate a part of our income. If we think that we can save a little and donate a little, we will change our lives and the society in which we live. Just to give an example: if Rede Cidadã had today one million people, just one million people donating R$1.00 to its programs and projects, we would change the speed of training and employability of young people from the base of the pyramid.

That is why I invite you to think about it: save a little, donate a little.

Sending you the best wishes for this holiday and that on 2023 we can all save and donate more!

Message from Adriana Boscov, Relationship, Partnership and Fundraising Manager

2022 comes to an end as a milestone in the culture of giving at Rede Cidadã. We had the best result in the history of the organization, thanks to people who bet on our proposals for the integral development of young people, the elderly, people with disabilities, LGBTQIAPN+ and several other vulnerable groups.

We understand that there is nothing more beneficial to a person than having autonomy, and this is what we offer to those who participate in our programs and projects: personal and professional development that helps them walk on their own two feet.

Through monthly and occasional donations, we reached a total of USD 10,500 in 2022 (donations made until 20th of December). A record of donations for our organization! These funds, together with equipment received from partner companies, will be invested in computer labs in several cities where Rede Cidadã operates, starting with Lagoa da Prata (MG), Recife (PE), and Rio de Janeiro (RJ) to expand the services to people in vulnerable situations.

Thus, we enter 2023 very excited with the good prospects of expanding the frontiers of service to the people who most need support in our society.

And for this, we are counting on you! Donate, spread the word, mobilize, be a volunteer... in short: be part of this Network of solidary love and life transformation.

Wishing you all Happy Holidays and that 2023 brings more opportunities for life transformation in partnership with you!
