Dear donors, we are happy to write to you again to tell you what is happening in Ananda in these last months.

We are happy to share that, thanks to the support of AMI Montessori Mexico, two teachers from our team are training as certified guides in Mexico City and thanks to that they are increasingly better prepared to guide children in their development. The adult is the first Prepared Environment for the child. Hence the importance of paying special attention to our training in all areas. Today we would like to share with you the principles with which we work within the different environments of our school.

The training of the Montessori educator is essential since it transcends in several aspects, it must be a transformation that allows contact with the child, a continuous personal and professional development, knowing ourselves and acquiring more responsibility to be able to look at children from another perspective , this preparation as a Montessori guide consists of several aspects, both spiritually, practically, physically and intellectually, it is important to know and prepare internally, always with a good attitude, put into practice "introspective" observation, self-reflecting and self-evaluating in order to react with children in the best way.

The way in which we communicate with the child is objective. María Montessori compares the guide as a scientist who serves humanity, which has to open up to bear fruit, which is why the adult within the environment is called a guide and not a teacher. , our role is to guide them according to their interests, developing the observation part will also help them to set limits, know when to intervene or when to let children discover new challenges so that knowledge emerges.

Regarding practice, we must know, allow and promote the development of the child through the materials with which we work, allowing the development of skills, discovering and awakening their interest in knowing different areas that help give guidelines to children, it is like this How do you work with children from 3 to 15 years old? One of the purposes of Dr. Montessori was to educate for peace, for this reason we are prepared in conflict management since in the early stages of development the child is morally formed and constantly seeks a role model. We work through respect, patience, love and affective communication that help to form the human being that society needs. Our job as Montessori guides is to see with the eyes of the soul the new child that appears every day.

“All the masters can do is help get the great task done and act as servants to their great master. Thus they will witness the revelation of the human soul and the emergence of a New Man who will not be the victim of events, but who has a clear enough vision to direct and shape the future of human society.

Maria Montessori

We appreciate your continued support of our project because thanks to your donations we can continue sharing this experience with more children and offer them the opportunity to develop their skills within the spaces of the Ananda Learning Center.
