One of the main purposes of Fundacion Maritere, is helping our patients to recover their productivity. Many of them, due to rheumatic diseases, have lost their works. For this and other reasons, an adequate treatment is very important. Over these months, 78 patients were benefited with medication for their rheumatic diseases. One of these patients, Uriel, is 33 and is a gardener. He suffers from a disabling disease called "Esponidilitis anquilosante". He is financially responsible for his family and had to stop working but in 2019 he joined Fundacion Maritere and gained access to a complete treatment, Thanks to a prompt diagnosis, an adequate medication (including biological medication), emotional support and physiotherapy, he is gaining mobility and has recovered his work.
