WEAD Group continues to transform wastes into salable items. They up cycled local dry waste (cartons, papers, plastic bottles, etc…) into salable eco-friendly items which are all handmade and chemical free.
The $25 grant received helped them to buy paints for decorating their finished products which include small and large plates, jewelry, elephants and more. God bless the donors
This project is very beneficial to the women because it has created for them an income stream and helped them gain financial knowledge and save for their future. It has given them confidence to actively participate in the global movement towards saving our planet. This project also enables then to earn money and have access to other basic needs like health care and education for their children
One of them called Suzana, testified: “I can now pay for my children’s health insurance! May God bless our Donors.”
Capacity is still low; they need more equipment like paint and paint brushes among others to increase their productivity. They still require training to make other needed products and expand their portfolio.
