By clive | Solar Installer
Dear Supporters,
Thank you once again for supporting our mission to transition underserved schools to clean, reliable renewable energy. Your generosity continues to drive real, measurable change in the communities that need it most.
Since our last report, we've made steady progress—even amidst rising challenges. Our focus remains clear: providing solar-powered systems to schools that suffer from frequent blackouts or have no access to electricity at all. These interruptions affect not just learning, but also safety, sanitation, and access to vital resources.
With your support, we’ve been able to:
Complete an energy assessment of several rural school sites in need
Engage with local renewable energy suppliers to secure ethical and cost-effective options
Finalize planning for our next installation, expected later this year
Provide temporary lighting solutions to one partner school while infrastructure is developed
These may seem like small steps, but for children learning in dark classrooms or studying by candlelight at home, they represent a path to opportunity, safety, and dignity.
What’s Next?
We are now preparing for the installation of a solar energy system at our pilot school. This will include:
Solar panels with battery storage
Energy-efficient lighting and outlets for classrooms and admin spaces
Training for school staff on basic maintenance and energy management
But we need your continued support. With each dollar donated, we’re one step closer to giving children the light they need to learn and thrive.
Here's how your donation helps:
$25 supports wiring and energy-efficient lights for one classroom
$100 contributes toward solar battery storage
$500 powers a school kitchen or computer lab
$3,500 funds a full solar setup for a small rural school
Together, we are building a more sustainable and equitable future—one school at a time. Thank you for being part of this important journey.
With gratitude
