By Cora Sayre | Project Leader
Dear Friends and Partners,
Greetings from Leyte Province and thank you very much for your generous support to our project to provide house materials and houses to Typhoon Haiyan survivors. The situation for some is becoming vvery dire indeed when several months after the super-typhoon, tents provided by international donors are starting to deteriorate and a few are living in the open. This family in the photo is one of them and situation for them is desperate. The family was abandoned by the husband and they live in the side of the street. The 2 children are vulnerable to children trafficking which is rampant here. They live day by day by selling vegetables and whatever they can find.
May I appeal to your kind heart to help us provide a roof for this family. Your generosity will be much appreciated.
Very sincerely yours,
Cora
