Dear Friend,
Greetings and thank you very much for your continuing support to our project providing food, sanitation and hygiene kits to communities affected by Typhoon Vinta (International code: Tembin). Up until now, the affected communities have difficulty returning to their normal lives especially those families who lost their loved ones due to the raging flood waters during the typhoon. We continue to build latrines this reporting period and this time we were able to build 73 latrines using our low-cost designs. We deployed skilled masons and carpenters coming from our project sites in nearby province of Misamis Oriental. Aside from the latrines we dsitributed highly nutritious meals to 60 very poor and severely affected communities. Thanks to a local organizations who provided us with meal packs that we are able to distribute.
