As 2024 gets started, our Innovation Fund project is still gearing up.
This March 29-31, UAEM will host our north America conference at Johns Hopkins University, and will unveil applications for the first UAEM Innovation fellow!
Thanks to your support, we'll be able to place a fellow with a research institution this summer and start building this program from the start.
Look out for more details while we gear up for summer 2024!
We can't be more excited about bringing innovation into the conversation about humanity and access to medicines on an individual level.
In part due to this project and our focus on young innovators, we will also be unveilling a partnership with the Doris Duke Foundation to host a Civic Science fellow with UAEM. That fellow will work to help translate scientific findings on racial equity in clinical equations into actionable advocacy and policy tools. Our innovation fellow will have a chance to learn from this great new team member!
