Program: Strengthening Knowledge

Education and Child Social Development

During September and October 2025, UBECI continued to strengthen the educational and emotional development of the children participating in our workshops in the markets. Through play-based, educational, and participatory activities, we aimed to reinforce previously acquired knowledge while promoting the values of coexistence, respect, and cooperation.

During this period, more than 120 boys and girls actively took part in the various activities, showing significant progress in their social, cognitive, and emotional skills.

Objective for the Period

To reinforce the knowledge acquired by the children, promote active learning, creativity, and reflection on social values through pedagogical activities that strengthen their overall development.

Highlighted Activities

Throughout this period, several educational activities were implemented to encourage participation, collaboration, and critical thinking, including:

  • Cooperative Learning Dynamics:
Children participated in games and exercises that strengthened active listening, teamwork, and empathy.

  • Storytelling and Reflection:
Stories focusing on solidarity, friendship, and mutual respect were used as tools to inspire dialogue and shared learning.

  • Memory Games and Knowledge Challenges:
These activities helped reinforce basic academic content (reading, writing, mathematics, and vocabulary) through play, fostering motivation and curiosity for learning.

  • Artistic Expression:
Through drawing, singing, and role-playing, children expressed their emotions and reflected on topics such as equality, cooperation, and diversity.

Observed Results

The activities carried out during September and October resulted in significant improvements in the following areas:

  • Social Skills:
Children demonstrated greater ability to communicate, listen, and resolve conflicts peacefully.

  • Critical Thinking:
There was noticeable progress in their capacity to analyze and reflect on everyday situations and social values.

  • Teamwork:
Increased collaboration and willingness to participate actively in group activities.

Achieved Impact

The months of September and October reaffirm UBECI’s mission to strengthen learning and holistic development among children working in the markets. Through our play-based educational methodology, UBECI continues to build a safe, inclusive, and participatory environment that nurtures emotional, social, and educational well-being.

UBECI remains committed to promoting spaces where children can learn, share, and grow together, reinforcing the core values of respect, equality, and solidarity in every activity we undertake.
