CRISIS IN FOCUS & LOOKING AHEAD

It's been nearly two years since the war in Ukraine escalated in February 2022 and there is still no end in sight. Our teams are working across Ukraine, bringing together the best of our experience in humanitarian response and long-term programming to help children and families who have been affected by this crisis.

Your continued support can help Save the Children sustain and expand critical life-saving programs for children in Ukraine into 2024, including:

• Sustaining food security and livelihoods, water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) and shelter and nonfood item distribution in areas where this work is ongoing and must be maintained; and

• Expanding the above programming to include locations where we have to date focused on child protection and education.

Save the Children stands alone as the last remaining INGO in western Ukraine serving children and families, as others have shuttered their offices. While our teams are still responding to the ongoing high humanitarian need in eastern and southern Ukraine, the west is grappling with an alarming influx of internally displaced people, predominantly women and children, who are in desperate need of our immediate support.

HOW YOU CAN HELP

In Ukraine, our humanitarian response targets the most vulnerable, including women, children, people with disabilities, the elderly and displaced families. We also strengthen partnerships with local actors, including youth-led and women-led organizations, to ensure our work meets the needs of children and affected communities.

In 2024, Save the Children seeks to fill critical gaps in funding for shelter and non-food items, food security and livelihoods and WASH programs in Ukraine to meet the growing needs' of families - and we cannot do this without supporters like you.

With your support, our teams and partner organizations can provide children with the support they need to move from surviving to thriving.

Thank you for showing solidarity with children in Ukraine through this crisis.
