Dear friends, we are excited to share an update on how your donation has helped Ukrainian children's hospitals.
Six months on, Russia's invasion of Ukraine continues ravaging the country and devastating children's lives in many ways.
Children's medical facilities experience shortages of medical equipment and supplies. To be able to provide healthcare services, children's hospitals need urgent support. If children cannot access the medical care they need, their physical and mental welfare can rapidly deteriorate.
Thanks to your donation, we are happy to report that we purchased five new medical beds and mattresses worth UAH 50 746.50 (USD 1,387.71) for the Rzhyshchiv medical centre of primary health care from Kyiv Oblast at their request. Hospital patients have increased by 1.5 times in the past six months. Many of the patients are Internally Displaced Persons, including children forced to leave their homes seeking safety.
