Ukraine Emergency supplies and aid needed.

Quick update Disaster Aid USA is now helping to provide 30,000 meals to refugees.  The 1000 Sawyer Water filters are in route and Solar Lighting that also charges cell phones leaves beginning of next week.  Hygiene Kits are being sourced and assembled in Prague Czech Republic and personally shipped in a Disaster Aid Europe Trailer to a border town in Slovakia along with Water filters and other supplies requested.   The Family Survival Tents have been requested and we are working the plan now to get them there ASAP.

Disaster Aid USA has an American Contact in Poland who is in close contact with Ukrainians still in country defending their cities.  We have been made aware of their specific needs and are buying these supplies and items in Poland and other countries and are being transported directly to them in Ukraine. We will be updated as the needs change whether weekly or daily depending on when contact is made in country.

Summary Disaster Aid USA will use two logistic trains.

1. Disaster Aid Europe in Prague, Sourcing supplies locally and aid that is shipped in by air from other partner countries and DAUSA. Then Transported to borders towns in Slovakia, assessing needs each trip and regrouping in Prague to make another run. Recipients are Refugees who have left the country

2. American Contact in Poland who is in contact with Ukrainian still in the country defending their cities and relaying the exact supply shortage and needs back to DAUSA.  Either the supplies will be sourced locally(Poland) or flown in from the United States or other Countries depending on availability. Recipients are Ukrainians Still in country

We are a small NGO compared to others but that allows us to be flexible with our plans addresses the needs as they change.
