By Sunny Naughton | Director of Communications
The Center for Health and Learning has continued to pivot with hybrid offerings to reach youth and youth adults in New England. In the winter of 2023, CHL onboarded a new Director of Communications who holds youth, teen, and adult Mental Health First Aid certifications to continue meeting youth and their caregivers where they are.
CHL staff connected with three grassroots youth-serving organizations this winter to plan events for the coming months. CHL continues to find the benefit of partnering with people on the ground, seeing and hearing what is happening to create and bring programming directly to youth. This past week, we attended Prevention Day at the Capital in Vermont and left with no less than a dozen new community partners, excited to see CHL out in the field and to work together for the health of all. We are also currently looking at the fall school schedules and talking to leaders about how we can work with their in-service and event days.
Thank you for your continued support. We appreciate you helping us help others.
