2023-2024 Virtual Exchange Program - Global Goals

Virtual Exchange Live Session

We completed the Fall module with 15 schools (16 groups/classes) from 9 countries - Georgia, USA, Tanzania, Czech Republic, Finland, India, Ghana, Wallis & Futuna Islands, and Egypt - with an estimated 320 students. About 80% of the schools are in need of full sponsorship and 20% are in need of partial sponsorship.

Some Highlights

83% of the schools that participate in the Program received full sponsorship to cover the Program fee.
51% of participants have never participated in any Virtual exchange Program before.
85% of participants are interested in participating in the Program again.
83% of participants highly recommend the Program to other participants.

Digital Storytelling using AI Image Generation

The first iteration of the Digital Storytelling using AI image generation was a great success. Students used the AI image generation tool to illustrate original content for their digital books.It has been a powerful tool that helped participants shape their stories, amplifying their voices on issues they deeply care about. The project engaged schools from the United States, Tanzania, the Czech Republic, Finland, and Georgia.

Looking Ahead

The second module of the Program has started and will run through the end of March. We are excited to welcome schools from new regions for next year. A dominant majority of those schools are from underserved communities that do not have the financial ability to participate in the Program. We continue to raise funds and are grateful to our donors for their continuous support in making this experience accessible to those underserved and rural schools that otherwise would not have the opportunity to participate.
