P – The Problem

Over 70% of young people in Kenya are either unemployed or underemployed due to limited access to quality education and practical skills training (Kenya National Bureau of Statistics, 2023). Many leave school without employable skills, leading to cycles of poverty, dependency, and vulnerability.

O – The Opportunity

Kenya’s youth population (over 75% under the age of 35) represents a powerful engine for economic growth. By equipping them with education, entrepreneurship, and digital skills, we can unlock innovation, create jobs, and strengthen communities. Every youth trained is not just an individual transformed, but a multiplier for family and community progress.

W – What We Have Done

• Reached 300+ youth through business skills and leadership training in the last quarter.

• Conducted 4 workshops on financial literacy, digital skills, and entrepreneurship.

• Distributed 200+ training manuals and learning kits.

• Engaged 15 mentors/trainers to support participants through coaching and peer-to-peer learning.

• Facilitated 2 exposure visits for youth to established enterprises.

• Phase 2: Scale Training

  • Establish a seed capital fund to support at least 100 youth-led enterprises.

  • Strengthen partnerships with microfinance institutions and corporates for internships and job placements.
