Thanks to the generosity of compassionate donors, $40 was raised toward helping Anicia receive urgently needed medical care. While we are incredibly grateful for every dollar given, unfortunately, the amount raised was not enough to even schedule her initial medical appointment.
Our team returned to the displaced persons camp where Anicia had been living to see if there was another way we could use these funds to help meet one of her immediate needs. Sadly, we discovered that Anicia had relocated.
Despite returning to the camp numerous times and asking about her whereabouts, our team has been unable to locate her.
While we are deeply saddened that we could not provide Anicia with the medical care she desperately needed, we remain committed to making sure your generosity makes a difference.
The $40 raised will be redirected to help another vulnerable individual facing a similar urgent medical need.
Thank you for your compassion, generosity, and understanding. Although this project did not unfold as we had hoped, your gift will still bring hope and help to someone in need.
