Often when funds are needed for something medical, secondary needs tag along, and by helping cover the medical portion, those other needs go away!

Frida needed surgery but didn’t have the resources to cover the cost.  Because of the pain she suffered she was no longer able to work.  This not only presented the problem of having food in their home, but she also wasn’t able to cover the school fees for her children.  The children were sent home from school until their arrears were covered.

Thanks to your help, the cost of surgery was covered, and Frida was able to return to work, get her life back on track and cover the school fees (the secondary needs gone!)

Grace is a student who had to drop out of school due to the pain she was experiencing. She was advised to have surgery, but being an orphan didn’t give her any hope of raising the funds needed.

Thanks to your help, the cost of surgery was funded, Grace had the surgery and was able to return to her educational studies. (the secondary need of returning to school accomplished)

Two-month-old Baby Gillette needed surgery for an inguinal hernia.  His mum is single and worked to raise the funds needed for the surgery but couldn’t raise the full amount. 

Thanks to your help, Baby Gillette had the surgery and is recovering well. (not a secondary need, but just a return to health.)
