It's with happy hearts that we can report Nourish Eco Village has their own yoga deck at the Ubuntu Girls club.
The grils are looking forward to starting yoga classes and self-defense class on our own premises. We have a volunteer coming soon that will teache the Ubuntu girls yoga and meditation.
The girls are enjoying the self-defense classes they attented till now which is every Saturday. Martin the Green Kidz facilitator picks them up from their school in the morning and drop them of at the facility. Soon this will be within walking distance from their homes.
Self-defense classes are very important for girls espesially in the rural area where gender based violence is a huge problem. These gilrs will now know how to defend themselfs and their friends.
We are hoping to increase the number of gilrs join in the coming year.
Be dangerous. But be kind.
