Thanks to funds donated by our supporters, we have been able to kickstart what is needed to improve the lives of the village dogs. From recent funds, we have had vaccinations for 60 dogs which included rabies, parvo, distemper, worms and fleas. These vaccinations were necessary to strengthen the dogs to prepare them for upcoming spaying and neutering. This also included neutering of 12 male dogs. Medications, such as antibiotics, were administered to all dogs during their sterilizations to prevent post-op infection.
Your donations have massively helped to improve the lives of the village dogs and will help to limit the village dog population to prevent more unwanted puppies. The vaccinations will help to keep the dogs healthy and prevent disease from being spread to the rest of the community. With a bit more funding and support we can pay for the rest of the dogs to be sterilized. 2 female dogs have recently had litters of puppies and continued funding can cover the costs of vaccinations and sterilizations for the mother and puppies once they have weaned and the puppies are at least 6 months of age.
