Dear Friend,
Warm greetings and thank you very much for your generous dontion to our project assiting with backyard gardening poor families affected by the siege in Marawi City. Until now, rehabilitation of the damaged city is very slow because of various problems and many of the evacuees are still staying in evacuation centers or their relatives. We focus our attention to those staying with their relatives because they have space where they can implement gardening activities. This reporting period, we assisted 120 beneficiaries prepare their garden produce in such a way that they are nice to eat as well as presentable in order to give value added to their products and with the eye to selling among their neighbors. A lowly herb like mint and holy basil can be made into tea and taro root crop can be cooked deliciously. We took photos of our menu and present these to other beneficiaries so that they will be inspired too.
Hoping for your continuing support.
Very sincerely yours,
Cora
