Training program
Dear Friend,
Warm greetings for the New Year and thank you very much for your support to our project improving vegetable production via seed improvement and distribution. We are happy to report that our initiative is going strong with your support and locally. This reporting period we build the capacities of farmers by training and providing visits to their farms so we can provide technical help. We also provide farming inputs like vegetable seeds, seedlings, organic fertilizer and small farm tools. We are able to assist 80 farmers in this manner and we hope to increase the number of our beneficiaries in the coming months. Again thank you very much for your kindness and generosity.
Very sincerely yours,
Cora Sayre

Seeds for growing
Dear Friend,
Thank you very much for your support to our project producing vegetable seeds and distributing them to farmers. We are happy to report that finally rains has started after the several months of punishing dry season. Now farmers have planted crops in their fields and food is within reach already. This reporting period and thanks to you we are able to purchase additional seeds for distribution to farmers. Our strategy is for farmers to harvest young crops and retain some to be matured and to be grown next season. In this way the supply of seeds is continuing and there is no need to purchase seeds in the market. Seeds are expensive and limiting for farmers. Easy access means more areas can be planted ensuring volume harvest by them. Hoping for your continuing support to our initiative. Thank you very much.
Very sincerely yours,
Cora Sayre

Growing seedlings for distribution
Dear Friend,
Thank you very much for your generous donation to our project vegetable seed production and distribution project. We are happy to report that after more than 5 months of intense heat, rains has started falling signaling the start of the planting season and farmers can have harvest, food and income again. The last 5 months or so has been very tough with food and water shortages happening and negatively impacting the lives and livelihoods of poor farming families. This reporting period we are gearing-up for the rainy season by growing seedlings that we will distribute to farmers. The seedlings comprise mainly vegetables because these are difficult and expensive to access by farmers. We grow them first before distribution because they are too tiny and difficult to raise by farmers. We are growing 4 types and will target 300 farmers for distribution. Hoping for your continuing support.
Very sincerely yours,
Cora Sayre
