Cancer survivors in Ghana often face social and economic challenges after treatment, including loss of income and limited employment opportunities. The Vocational Training for Cancer Survivors project aims to empower survivors by equipping them with practical skills and training that can help them earn a livelihood and regain independence.
Through this initiative, survivors will receive training in various vocations, including tailoring, catering, hairstyling, and small-scale entrepreneurship. Although donations are still being mobilized, our team has begun identifying survivors in need of support and planning the training programs to ensure maximum impact once funding is received.
This project will restore confidence, promote self-reliance, and improve the quality of life for cancer survivors, enabling them to rebuild their lives after illness.
