Project Update: Empowering Young Mothers and Single Parents Through Vocational Skills Training
Good Cause Foundation is grateful to share an important update on our vocational and entrepreneurship empowerment project for young mothers and single parents in underserved communities in Uganda.
Although we have not yet received donations, we are thankful that compassionate supporters from outside the platform stepped in to support our mission. Because of this support, we successfully conducted a hands-on soap making training program for vulnerable young women and single mothers.
We are proud to report that:
50 young girls and single mothers have successfully completed training in liquid and solid soap making
Participants gained practical vocational skills that can help them start small income-generating businesses
The training also introduced participants to basic entrepreneurship and self-reliance concepts
Many participants expressed hope and confidence about supporting their families through these new skills
This progress is a meaningful step toward reducing unemployment, poverty, and dependency among vulnerable women in our communities.
Our broader project continues to focus on:
Tailoring and sewing
Liquid and solid soap making
Baking and pastry production
Hairdressing and beauty services
Crafts and reusable products
Entrepreneurship and financial literacy
Mentorship and counseling
Startup support for graduates
We humbly ask supporters, friends, and well-wishers to continue sharing our campaign so that we can reach more donors and funders who can help us expand this life-changing program to more vulnerable women and youth.
Together, we can empower communities with practical skills, dignity, and hope for a better future.
