The project has gained huge momentum in the past few months. A combination of funds, excellent staff and the support of other charities that are working in the area means the classrooms are now productive.
The sewing machines are being used to produce school uniforms and the carpentry rooms have now made tables, chairs and stools. They have also had their first order for some furniture for the ZOE project.
Our site manager - Wilson - still has work to do on the building as the rains have caused more erosion at the back of the classrooms and the roof needs attention, but with some excellent Zambian staff showing initiative and enthusiasm for the project, things are definitively looking good.
We are still keen to build a Maternity ward as an extension to the clinic but in the meantime funds will be used to buy raw materials for the classrooms to help maintain progress.
Thank you for your support. Please help us to do more!
