This is a micro VIDA project helping HIV+ young mothers protect their newborns from infection. The work of the clinic is all volunteer and the financial support is needed for basic supplies.
This clinic support is one of 94 micro-clinics supported throughout Peru that VIDA provides medical supplies to on an ongoing basis year round. Though it is not a headline disaster - it is a day to day need. In addition to baby formula VIDA is providing basic medical supplies and equipment.
The San Camilo Home (HSC), a non-profit founded in1995 n the largest cloister of an old convent of the Camillus Monks, for the purposes of accommodating, accompanying and attending to people with HIV/AIDS living in extreme poverty, encouraging a path to health where the value of life is given the greatest priority.
