This vulture was found by our field volunteers in a very critical condition at the area of khambhat, central Gujarat, india.
After receiving information immediately, it wad rescued and brought to our center- hospital at Jivdaya charitable trust, Ahmedabad.
Overnight it was monitored and treated. After our expert’s clinical examination, we came to know that there is multiple injuries on his body. X Ray was taken and we found 3 fracture in wing and 1 fracture on it’s leg. Due to this, it might not have received food for since last 2-3 days and severe dehydrated was observed.
The reason for this condition was unknown but the bird is showing positive signs of improvement during treatment and proper husbandry.
After its full recovery, the vulture will be released at it’s original colony.
