This juvenile migrated Vulture (Eurasian Griffon) was found by our field volunteers in a dehydrated and starved state at the area of Himmatnagar, Sabarkanta District Gujarat, India. The reason for this cause was unknown but the bird was weak enough and unable to take long flight. After receiving information immediately our rescue team with curator was rescued the vulture and brought to our facility- hospital at Jivdaya charitable trust, Ahmedabad. Overnight it was monitored and treated.
After our expert’s clinical examination we found, it might not have received food for since last 2-3 days, due to this severe weakness and dehydrated was observed. The bird is under observation and showing positive sign of improvement in its health.
