Dear Donor,
we hope you are doing well and that you are enjoying the summer to the fullest! We are happy to give you an update on our wash project in Uganda in the Otuke district. But read for yourself:
The construction work of our WASH project (Water, Sanitation, Hygiene) at seven elementary school in the Otuke district is almost complete at all schools and only the final implementations and final approvals are still missing.
The latrines and hand-washing facilities at three schools and the final painting work are still to be completed. As soon as this work has been completed, the respective projects will be ceremoniously handed over to the schools and local authorities.
The quarterly monitoring meeting was held in the Ogwete sub-district together with the district officials. The aim of the monitoring is to strengthen cooperation between NGOs and political leaders and to ensure the sustainability of the project.
The pictures you can see were taken by our local partner organization LTP and show the latest work carried out, the work already completed and the monitoring meeting.
We are very much looking forward to hopefully announcing the successful completion of the project soon!
Until then, we wish you all the best.
Thank you for all your support,
Celine from Visions for Children
