Updates from our WASH programm Alebtong, Uganda

It's time again for an update from our WASH program in the Alebtong region, Uganda!

Read here what has happened lately in our project at 7 schools in the Alebtong district in northern Uganda:

Community dialog meeting at the 3 schools has taken place.
Drilling of the wells started, 3 boreholes have been rehabilitated successfully and work on the new hand-washing facilities has begun.
Fencing of boreholes by the community.
A storm has torn off the roof of classrooms and latrines in one of the project schools. The school took care of the repairs to the classrooms on its own, and the latrines will be repaired as part of the project's construction measures
As the construction work progresses and the learning environment improves, pupil attendance increases at the schools.
