Updates from our WASH programm Alebtong, Uganda

Dear Donor,

we'd like to bring you an update from our WASH program in the Alebtong region, Uganda!

Read here all of our progress since January at 7 schools in the Alebtong district in northern Uganda:

Two stakeholder meetings have taken place, updating the community of the progress.
The construction of 7 latrines has been completed.
In 3 schools, the pupils' parents have participated in a mental health training to create awareness of the topic. With the knowledge acquired, they are now able to better support children with mental health issues.
The pupils and the teachers of the 3 schools attended a mental health training as well, expanding their knowledge on signs and symptoms of mental health issues.
The rehabilitated boreholes are now being used.
