Women facing health problems during child birth
Jati area is one of the remote, far and scattered area of district Sujawal, Taluka Jati, about 12 to 15 km away from Jati main city. Rural women facing problems during the child birth do not have any nearby basic health unit or hospital. The rural women living in area have to travel by foot and have to pay large amount to taxi, sometime in the night time their no taxi available. According the village women many children death happen due to unavailability of Doctor on time.
AHD to step in to introduce Mother & Child health Center in village for the immediate help for women residing in this area.
We are looking for donation and support for this project to start women services, till to date AHD health team doing medical visits at their village level. Women facing unavailability of health facilities
Women of Jati costal area facing problem during the child birth, no health facilities nearby the villages in Jati area only Basic health unit available at Jati main city and UC level which is almost 15 to 18 km away from the villages / homes. During the visits of June to July some 13 villages women complained about shortage of health facilities. AHD committed to provide health for women in near villages of AHD Field office, our project will almost cover some 30 villages and direct families 800 with total estimated population about 6,800. We hope this report will help you all to see and know more about our project and target areas. We waiting of your response for the support during this monsoon season 2014.

Rural families affected during floods 2013, still looking support from outside

Rural families affected during floods 2013, still looking support from outside
AHD striving hard to support flood victims at their door step, in this regard AHD staff conducted a survey in villages near Matli and New Danbaloo areas of District Badin, during visit staff seen different families catching fish from local ponds, the ponds made via natural rain water or drainage water.
Upon discussion with local people catching fish from drainage ponds, people share that they do not have anything to eat, that is the reason they collecting small fish from natural ponds and nearby water canals to feed up their children and family.
The poverty increased in the flood affected areas and the families affected during floods 2013 still facing hard to get sufficient food for their family.
AHD wants to support the rural families and hope to receive donations for this purpose
