"A river that teaches a mountain that gives life"
In the green heart of the Cangrejal, a dream carves its path through rocks and roots: dignified access to water. Today, the Water and Basic Sanitation project in El Pital moves forward with strength and hope. We have already completed essential works such as the intake structure, desander, break-pressure tank, and after installing more than 3 kilometers of pipeline through the mountain, the main conduction line is almost reaching the heart of the community. This progress represents 55% of the total construction work.
However, beyond the infrastructure, something deeper beats: awareness and commitment. While the pipes stretch across the land, ideas and values are being planted in hearts. Through the Healthy Schools and Homes methodology (ESCASAL), families in El Pital are learning how to care for water, their health, and their environment. At the same time, in other communities throughout the Cangrejal River watershed, we are leading educational campaigns because we firmly believe that sustainability is built through knowledge—from childhood to adulthood.
This is not just a project. It is a quiet and beautiful revolution. A holistic and innovative program not only ensures clean water, but also empowers communities to protect and sustain it for generations.
Thank you—endless thanks—to those who have already said “yes” to this cause. You have not only funded pipelines—you have planted a future. In addition, if you haven’t joined us yet, now is the time: share this story with your family, friends, and contacts. Spread the word. Let this cause flow as far as the water we’re building together.
Because where there is water, there is life. Where there is education, that life blossoms.
