This is the title of a report in the Telegraph about how lack of water affects everyone.
Recently in the UK we had a water shortage. Due to the unexpected cold snap aka 'The Beast from the East' water pipes froze and burst several times leaving many without water for up to two weeks. It wasn't until the water went at both our Head office and several of our homes did it really hit home to us what life would be like if we awoke each day with the uncertainty of accessing water that day. Not having clean running water to drink, wash with or cook with elisits a sense of panic deep inside. Throughout the days of the UK drought shops ran out of bottled water and twitter was awash (pardon the pun) with complaints to water companies.
And this is what the people in Ghana are facing every day. Except they do not have access to shops with bottled water or have a water company forced to make it right, very very quickly. And this is why we need your help.
With your help we are supporting a village and the surrounding areas to have a sustainable source of fresh water so they can wash, eat and drink natures juice without getting ill.
Thanks for your continued support and please give generously for the love of humanity and chocolate.
