Recently there has been a change in governement and this has meant the water project has had to be put on hold.
With your support we've manged to drill the bore hole and secure fresh water into the village. Unfortunalty its not able to be drunk yet due to salinety, but the villagers are able to wash with it and in it, freeing up other water supplies for drinking and cooking with.
There have been some issues with importing the equipment needed to rectify this situation, so we have had to put the project on hold while legal processes take place. This may take some time.
So thank you for your donations to help us to get this far and providing water to this small village.
