Hands for Charity continues to expand its Water Well Project in Niger and Chad, helping provide clean and safe drinking water to underserved communities facing chronic shortages. In many rural areas, families are forced to rely on unsafe water sources, putting their health at serious risk. Through the construction of sustainable wells, the project is transforming daily life by providing reliable access to clean water for drinking, cooking, and basic needs.
In recent months, Hands for Charity constructed four new wells in the region; two in Chad and two in Niger, bringing safe water closer to vulnerable communities. These wells help reduce waterborne diseases and ease the burden on families—especially women and children—who often travel long distances to collect water.
Despite this progress, the need remains urgent. Continued support is essential to build more wells and ensure that even more families gain access to safe, life-saving water.
