As we reported in our last report, the collection of proposals for the "Unpolished Diamond" Talent Management Programme, which our Foundation is implementing together with the ROTARY Club of Székesfehérvár and the Municipality of Székesfehérvár, has been completed.
Based on the proposals, 9 talented children and young people in state care will be supported. Some of them have received support for their higher education, others for their artistic training, for a total amount of HUF 1 650 000.
We have also completed the preparatory work for our "Road to the Future" Career Choice and Guidance programme. Thanks to the information provided by the experts, 1 group of 16 children (12-16 years old) is ready to start the programme. However, the amount of funding currently available is not sufficient to run the programme. We have therefore had to postpone the start of the programme.
Unfortunately, there has been little funding for our project in the recent period.
If this continues, we plan to implement the career guidance in the form of a thematic summer camp with a reduced content, which is covered by the funding.
We believe that this change would also serve well to help the target group in their career choices. This alternative is also under preparation.
If we are awarded additional grants, we will implement the planned programmes if funding is available.
