Dear Donors and Supporters,
Not quite as low-tech as our mobile hand washing machines are the bicycles that Kamboo Project has issued to students of Phum Steung Elementary School for the third time. We can see what the bicycles mean to the children in the many positive feedback we receive. Public transport and school buses are practically non-existing in rural Cambodia. The distances to school are shortened by bike, the children are more rested and therefore the performance in school is better or the regular school attendance is only possible in the first place, and also off the way to and from school, the bikes are extremely helpful in everyday life. Of course, not unimportant, the children are very proud of their bikes, which they can use over the primary and secondary school years. Last but not least, the wheels are a very clear sign of how important school education is.
We are conducting students accessments before deliver to them based on the list that School Principle provided. This process is helpful for us to implement with the right needs.
Thank you very much to all Donors and supporter for making this project continuces.
Best Regards,
