At the heart of this next phase is a plan to close the creative circle: supporting bold new ideas from inception to distribution and creating impact by facilitating meaningful dialogue between filmmakers and audiences. In the new year, we will launch a dynamic new website that will allow filmmakers to showcase past, current, and future work, connect directly with audiences, and raise funds to bring bold ideas to life.

The world needs our stories—raw, vibrant, and honest. And we need each other. Since our founding in 2009, WeOwnTV has grown from a small media program in Sierra Leone into a thriving profestional collective and hub for mentorship, media education, and cinematic expression across West Africa.
